Dr. Balaji Krishnan has a teaching experience of 18 years with more than 10 pub-med index publications under his credit. Dr. Balaji is very much interested in new technologies, always passionate about learning things and that's how he entered aligner therapy and started doing his own aligners.

 

He has been into in-office aligners for the past 3 years and has treated more than 200 In-office aligner cases. He owns a fully equipped In-office aligner set up in his clinic that includes an intraoral scanner, software, 3D printers, and a pressure molding machine. He has conducted many courses on In-office aligners practice across the country and has motivated many orthodontists into doing In-office aligners. He was also invited by various colleges and study groups to conduct In-office aligner courses for post-graduate students and teaching staff to encourage them to practice In-office aligner therapy.

 

He is also instrumental in setting up In-office aligners set-up at many institutions including MINDS Mahe, Pondicherry, and multiple private practices. To mention a few of the courses he has conducted in association with various orthodontic study groups: MOSG at Chennai, Course in association with Ragas Dental College in association with BOSG at VS Dental College, Bangalore. Apart from this, courses were conducted at SS Dental College at Trivandrum, MINDS, Mahe, Kalinga Dental Institute, Bhubaneswar, Vishnu Dental College, Bhimavaram, Sri Sai Dental College Srikakulam, Meenakshi Dental College, Chennai, 2nd invisible symposium at Geetham Dental college.

He was the resource person in conducting the In-office aligner workshop at the very first Invisible Orthodontic Symposium held at Jaipur. He also conducts courses for smaller groups in his clinic.

Dr. Balaji Krishnan works hard and keeps pushing the boundaries to improvise in Digital Dentistry, In-office Aligners, and 3D Orthodontics In India.

He along with Dr Parameswaran has tutored over 300 orthodontists since 2022-23 in doing in-office aligners.
